Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. His acting career started with TV roles, including Opposite Sext in 2000. The actor gained fame for his part as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero, in Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2007. Evans has also been featured in movie versions of graphic novels as well as comics, including TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). Evans gained more attention for his role as Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He was one of the highest-paid actors on the planet due to his role in the Marvel series.
