MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin popular music scene has been affected by his global reach. In the year 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. He then became part of Ozuna for his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He dropped Dopamina, his chart-topping sophomore album the following year. In 2021, he sang the duet to TINI's smash track Maldita Foto. A 2023 release of 2000 which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo is a product of a family of musicians the mother of his younger brother and father are both musicians. According to him, musicality was an integral element of his existence. As a child, was playing the ukulele as well as piano. He initially wanted to be a vet, but after his brother Julian convinced to him take singing lessons from a Cuban singer, he altered his goals for his future career.
